Volunteers are a key part of our work in transforming children, families and communities to promote school readiness. Whether you are working at special events, in the playroom with infants and toddlers, with the school-aged children in the after-school program, or even tutor the parents in the GED class, we hope that your experience with us is both positive and rewarding. We’ve found that our best volunteers share many of the same characteristics: compassion, commitment, flexibility, positivity, and dependability.
There is seldom a “typical volunteer day” because we work to customize your experience based on your availability, your strengths and your skills that you have to offer.
We look forward to working with you and we sincerely thank you for being a part of a movement that will lead to better outcomes and brighter futures for our children.
